- Michael Carter received his B.A. in Communication from the University of California, Davis, in 2017.
Research Focus
As an undergraduate, he completed an honors thesis exploring how exposure to Facebook profile content can influence interpersonal perception and self-esteem. Michael's research interests include mental control and technology use, maladaptive use of technology, and prosocial media effects.
